Friends of Waratah

Waratah Brass - Newcastle would not be the band it is today without the help and support of our loyal Friends group. The Friends of Waratah brass have been operating for a number of years now, and the members of the group range from parents of band members (including some of the older band members), former members, or simply regular concertgoers who want to do their little bit to help us.

If you think of yourself as a friend of the band, then why not make it official? Our friends receive a regular newsletter with updates from the band, concert dates and so forth. Friends of the band are also able to pre-order products such as CDs when they are produced. So how much does this cost? Very little! You can become a friend for a small annual fee of $5.00, all of which helps our friends help our bands in many ways. If you'd like to become a Friend of the band, you can either:

Speak to a band member or ticket seller at one of our concerts.
